These radio are all outdated legacy models, no backlight face plate operation buttons. 

** i have activated so many times and forgot how to disable ::
Yaesu 8900r : activated the WIRES - INT ON and once for INT OFF

Yaesu 8900r activated the WIRES or Internet tone  Yaesu 8900r is just a push of a button to turn it on and off.  It is the Volume/squelch knob/button. push once for INT ON and once for INT OFF.    the left volume squelch knob.  Press it in once and the display will read "INT OFF".  Conversely, if you press it again, it will display "INT ON".
